The Wee Packet Restaurant opened its doors in 1949 and has been serving loyal customers for the past 75 seasons. Always aiming to please, we strive to provide an authentic Cape Cod experience for your family and friends. We are located minutes away from the popular Dennis Port beaches and serve the freshest of local seafood alongside other popular options, to the delight of our many customers.
Serving three meals daily (in season), our guests can enjoy a hearty Irish breakfast complete with a grilled tomato and baked beans, a hot lobster roll with homemade cole slaw for lunch, or a full clambake with all the fixings for dinner. We also offer a varied kids menu featuring healthy choices for the wee little ones 10 and under.
Since 1949, the Wee Packet has gone through some changes; it has doubled in size to accommodate our many guests, we have expanded our outdoor patio, and we have updated our bar offerings to include an extensive array of summer cocktails, hearty draft beers, and a fine choice of wines.
The Wee Packet has it all! Be sure to check out the Wee packet Gift Shoppe … It’s located in our restored 200 year-old barn.
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the our new customers and look forward to welcoming back our many loyal families and friends.

Many years ago, “Packet Ships”, as they were known, were used to transport goods and services from Boston to Cape Cod and the Islands. The words “Wee Packet” in layman’s terms means “small ship”. The height of the Cape Cod packet ships spanned most of the 19th century.
